This game was played this past Saturday. Onward:

Kenny Cooper ended his recent scoring slump in the 9th minute from a long ball up from Pablo Ricchetti. He made a nice spin move and fired the shot into the net. But FCD gave up two goals afterward in the 26th and 69th minute. FCD managed the equalizer in the 79th minute by way of a diagonal cross by Eric Avila across the net to Andre Rocha. 2-2 was the final.

This is a team that is not destined for the playoffs.

I'm saving my magnum opus rant for the end of the season.

Next up: FCD is off to Chicago on Sept 21. <EM>
